2010 AUTUMN CRICKET SEASON Dear Team Captain The current league is nearing its end and we are looking forward to our 15-week Summer League. Benoni Action Cricket has shown remarkable growth over the last few seasons and we are very proud to have won the “Best Arena in the Country” award for the past 2 years. This was achieved mainly through our loyal players and our motto of “THIS IS YOUR ARENA”. Our players are not just our customers; they are our friends and colleagues. So if you’re looking for a competitive game of Action Cricket, whilst having loads of fun, then Benoni Arena is the place for you. To ensure that your team is placed in the correct grade all teams will be required to play two (2)-grading games. Grading games will take place from the week of the 22nd February and from the week of the 2nd March 2010. Please ensure that your registration form is in before grading games. The League starts on 9th March 2010. Finals will be held on the Sunday 4th July 2010. All teams must play a four (4) day week, one (1) game per week.{Tuesday to Friday evenings.} Please note that all teams will play a minimum of three 22h00 games . (excluding refixtured games) Please note that cancelled games will be rescheduled for 22h00 the following week. There are no exceptions to this format. A Captains meeting will be held on the Thursday 1st April starting at 5:45 pm. It is important for captains to attend the meeting as we will be discussing a few of the rules, upcoming events and you will receive a fixture list for the full season. Incentives. Captains attending the meeting will receive 10 bonus points for their league team. Registration fees paid within the first three weeks teams will receive another 10 bonus points.
